Welcome to Lew's Canoes!  Here in Upstate New York I operate a modest canoe shop specializing in preserving the art and craftsmanship found in the traditional wood/canvas canoes of the US and Canada.  Most of my projects fall into one of four categories:

    New Canoes - Custom built to your specification, using new materials, but century-old techniques.

    Restorations - From simple repairs to complete restorations, paying close attention to preserving orginal "fabric" where possible.

    Accessories - Wannigans in two sizes, and "half canoes" fitted out as wine racks or bookcases.

    Classes - Individual or small group classes for a new canoe or a restoration.
